Idstein, December 2024 - Storck Bicycle has achieved outstanding international recognition with the Bronze Award at this year's Design Intelligence Awards (DIA). Markus Storck, founder and Managing Director of the company, accepted the prestigious award in person. The DIA is one of the most prestigious awards in the world and recognises ground-breaking achievements in design and innovation. This year, the jury assessed over 8,000 products and only 25 winners were honoured in total.
The Design Intelligence Award (DIA) was established by the China Academy of Art in 2015 and is one of the most important international design awards. With total prize money of 5 million yuan (around 700,000 USD) and over 51,000 entries from 70 countries since its inception, the DIA is a global flagship for innovation. Every year, 30 of the best works are honoured, which underlines the enormous competition and the high status of the Bronze Award.
The jury was particularly impressed by the unique combination of technological excellence and aesthetic perfection that characterises the products from Storck Bicycle. "This award is a valuable recognition of our commitment to uncompromising quality and pioneering design," says Markus Storck. With the new Aerfast.5, STORCK Bicycle presents the fastest racing bike in the world. While the top racer Aerfast.4 is already at the top of the fastest racing bikes, STORCK is consistently developing the concept of the successful model further and has managed to raise the bar even higher. With the sensational 195 watts* of the new Aerfast.5, STORCK once again leads the eternal list of the best and records the biggest milestone in its racing bike history.
The aerodynamics of the road bike have been further improved in key areas. Where the Aerfast.4 already presented enormous optimisations thanks to the wider fork and more aerodynamic handlebar stem unit, the entire frame of the Aerfast.5 has been revised in multiple wind tunnel sessions, resulting in overall improved aerodynamics and increased material efficiency. The head tube is particularly striking. The new UCI guidelines make it possible to channel the airflow even more efficiently into the rear part of the frame. The weight of the Aerfast.5 frame has been further reduced through computer-aided frame design and the use of the highest quality carbon fibres, which has a positive effect on overall performance. The novelty also stands out visually and will be launched in the Team Edition with a blue colour gradient, which the Storck Metropolcycling team will show in professional cycling in the future. STORCK remains true to the design language of the previous Aerfast models.
The Aerfast.5 will be on show for the first time from 7 March at the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo in South Africa, the world's biggest amateur cycling race. The premiere in Germany will take place at Cycling World Europe on 15 March in Düsseldorf.

STORCK fans from South America now have access to the high-quality bikes via an exclusive sales partner. Behind "STORCK Uruguay" is Willy Bercetche, a cycling enthusiast who has recognised the potential of the premium STORCK bikes: "A fantastic design, dynamic, top performance in the mountains, really a very well-made product", he says about the Aerfast.4.
Willy Bercetche offers STORCK's entire sportive product range, including road bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes. Cycling is very popular in South America due to the varied landscape, and cycle tour operators such as STORCK are also very interested in the sport. Elite Cycling from Colombia, further north, carry STORCK bikes.
"Uruguay offers an open-minded and bike-friendly cycling culture that fits perfectly with our mission to produce high-quality bicycles for enthusiasts around the world. We look forward to enriching the cycling culture in Uruguay with our commitment to quality and innovation," says Dr Todor Lohwasser, Managing Director of STORCK Bicycle. Individual partnerships in selected destinations have formed an important pillar of STORCK's distribution system since the sales strategy was switched to direct sales a good four years ago. As STORCK already has a large fan base worldwide, supplying the additional store in South America ideally complements the sales concept, which the manufacturer hopes will lead to further customer growth.

- STORCK continues to achieve pleasing sales figures in a challenging market environment.
- The versatile and innovative product range forms the basis for further growth.
The premium bicycle manufacturer STORCK Bicycle continued its steady growth in 2023. Sales growth amounted to an increase of 28 per cent compared to the previous year. The EBITDA result even doubled.
This impressive growth is the result of a customised business strategy that encompasses several key factors. The strong focus on customer satisfaction in the direct customer business is being strengthened in the company's own stores in Idstein, Düsseldorf, Munich and Wertheim. Shorter delivery times enabled higher sales figures last year, with STORCK sticking to its customised individual construction and its 100 per cent quality concept.
In addition, the expansion of bicycle leasing options and the expansion into international markets contributed significantly to sales growth and strengthened the company's global presence. The successful collaboration with reliable key account partners in Germany and the launch of the attractively priced Comp line of the top-selling Aerfast.4, Aernario.3, Fascenario.4 and GRIX.2 models also made a significant contribution to the positive result in 2023.
With the successful development in recent years, in which an average of 60 per cent growth was achieved, STORCK is optimistic about 2024 and is aiming for further innovations in various business areas. The aim is to establish the experience of high-quality bikes in other stationary stores and revolutionise online sales.

- STORCK continues to achieve pleasing sales figures in a challenging market environment.
- The versatile and innovative product range is the basis for further growth.
- The new "My e:RADDAR" app is honoured with the Red Dot Award: Brand and Communication Design 2023.
The premium bicycle manufacturer STORCK Bicycle increased its turnover by 40% in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period in the previous year. Continuing its strong growth trajectory and strengthening its position in the market is an encouraging sign for the company and the industry as a whole, as the bicycle market continues to face challenges in the first six months of 2023. Despite a generally perceptible reluctance to buy and a decline in sales (around 20% for bicycles; around 12% for e-bikes; source: ZIV), Storck is holding its own in this tense market environment. The number of sales via the bicycle leasing model, which is proving to be extremely attractive for employees and employers, continues to grow.
STORCK attributes the increase in sales to the continuous development of its business model and the introduction of innovative products to the market at the right time, including the success of the Aerfast.4, one of the fastest racing bikes in the world, and the lightweight all-rounder Aernario.3. STORCK values its loyal customers and its partnerships with key accounts and international partners, which are making a significant contribution to the continuous upswing.
With the e:RADDAR brand, STORCK has introduced a new app in recent months, in addition to state-of-the-art motor technologies developed in-house, which allows users to experience the benefits of connectivity integrated into the bike and also revolutionises the riding experience with crucial safety requirements. The "My e:RADDAR" app was recently honoured by the German Design Council with the Red Dot Award: Brand and Communication Design 2023. The Red Dot Award recognises the app's outstanding design and functionality and highlights STORCK's commitment to innovative solutions.
"We are very pleased that we have been able to expand our customer base despite the challenging market environment. With our strong focus on customer needs, we are confident about the second half of the year and expect growth to continue," says Managing Director Dr Todor Lohwasser.

STORCK Bicycle proudly presents five exciting world premieres at this year's Eurobike trade fair in Frankfurt. With innovative designs and outstanding quality, the e:GRIX Pro, GRIX.2 Comp, Aerfast.4 RED, Aernario.3 Comp and Adrenalin.2 Pro models are setting new standards in their respective categories.
Adrenalin.2 Pro
After the two successful Adrenalin and Adrenic models, fans of the brand are looking forward to the successor model Adrenalin.2. It has been optimised for racing and impresses with lightweight components such as the F34 SC suspension fork from FOX and the new Float DPS shock. The bike also features a new carbon handlebar/stem unit with integrated cable routing. The light and stiff carbon frame ensures exceptional riding performance. With its eye-catching flip colour, the Adrenalin.2 is a real eye-catcher off-road and is available from € 5,799.
e:GRIX Pro
The e:GRIX is the latest member of the successful GRIX family and has been specially developed for use on dirt tracks and in forests. The e-gravel bike combines the elegant design language of the award-winning GRIX.2 with an aerodynamic handlebar stem unit and complete system integration. A notable highlight of the e:GRIX is the new X20 drive from Mahle, which offers an excellent compromise between weight and performance. Weighing just 3.2 kg, this system gives the rider a natural riding experience and is integrated almost invisibly into the bike. The total weight of the bike is just 10.9 kg in the top configuration and 11.4 kg in the standard configuration. The e:GRIX is now available as standard from € 6,499.

GRIX.2 Comp
The GRIX.2 is a versatile gravel bike with numerous mounting options for bikepacking use. Outstanding test results show agility and liveliness. The everyday sports bike with carbon handlebar/stem unit and complete system integration is available as an entry-level model in a beautiful colour gradient from € 3,599.

Aerfast.4 RED
The Aerfast.4 RED is a special model of the fast aero racer, which presents itself with the eponymous SRAM RED equipment outside the classic model structure at a sensational price of € 6,999. The limited edition design emphasises the aerodynamic advantages of the high-end model and offers SRAM enthusiasts an attractive exclusivity with impressive propulsion.

Aernario.3 Comp
The lightweight all-rounder Aernario.3 is characterised by its system integration and low weight. The top model Aernario.3 Pro is now also available as a more affordable Comp version at an attractive entry-level price of € 3,799 in elegant matt black.

In addition to the top highlights, other STORCK models will be released just in time for Eurobike in new colours and with new equipment variants to complement the diverse high-end portfolio. All new products will officially be available for customers to order on the first day of Eurobike.
Visitors to Eurobike can experience the new STORCK bikes and innovative e-bikes from the Cyklær, e:RADDAR and UPLAND brands on an area of 240 square metres in the Demo Area in the outdoor area F12.0 F26.

Shortly after the start of the new sales co-operation with the Chinese Golden Wheel Group, STORCK Bicycle announces the joint establishment of a joint venture under the company name E:RADDAR Europe. This is accompanied by the market launch of 25 new E:RADDAR and Upland e-bike models.
The E:RADDAR Europe joint venture is headquartered in Idstein and is currently being established. Originating from the sales cooperation with Golden Wheel, the two companies are focussing on the creation of new and innovative mobility concepts in the form of an extensive new e-bike range. STORCK is playing a leading role in product development and is also responsible for sales of the new e-bikes. The e-bikes are assembled in the company's own assembly plant.
While STORCK continues to focus on the production of high-end premium bikes made of carbon and focusses on sporty bikes, the E:RADDAR and Upland brands are storming the up-and-coming e-bike market. The new E:RADDAR brand models are characterised by a number of unique selling points, including connectivity via V-Box, which is inspired by use in motorsport. The innovative battery technology of the new batteries is based on the latest 217000 cell technology, whereby the capacity can be individually increased by the customer from 240 Wh to 480 Wh to 720 Wh with additional modules. Three unique in-house developments of the new drives "E:RADDAR ER90", "Einstein ES60" and "Einstein ES80" run on 48 volts and have been specially developed for an outstanding riding experience. With their compact design in a magnesium housing, these models offer unrivalled performance and exceed current requirements for harmonious e-bike riding.

Further networking is made possible by the E:RADDAR Aeye, a further development of the camera system on the Cyklær smart e-bike developed by STORCK. As a development partner of Alps Alpine, STORCK is presenting a digital rear-view mirror that can be linked to a smartphone and features AI-based hazard detection, recording and an integrated brake light on the new E:RADDAR e-bikes. Another innovation is an acoustic module integrated into the frame for warning and information sounds. In cooperation with Garmin, a heart rate measurement connection is also offered. The special feature of this interaction is the integration of all these features in a single app, which also allows over-the-air updates. In addition to urban/city models, E:RADDAR is also presenting new e-hardtails and e-fullys.
Upland, another E:RADDAR Europe brand, is now entering the market with a further 21 brand-new models. These offer an even wider range of models across all bike categories. Various motor concepts from E:RADDAR, Shimano, Vinka and Sachs offer performance for a wide range of applications. From E-Road and E-Gravel e-bikes to E-Urban, E-Allroad and E-Offroad e-bikes to an e-cargo longtail with 112 Nm, all models have been fundamentally redeveloped.
Both brands are characterised by an outstanding price-performance ratio. The more attractively priced Upland bikes range in price from €1,499 to €5,499.
With the new joint venture and the wide range of modern e-bikes, STORCK is further utilising the potential of electromobility to offer environmentally friendly and comfortable transport solutions. The combination of innovative motor technologies, high-quality materials and modern design makes the e-bikes from E:RADDAR and Upland an excellent choice for all cycling enthusiasts.
STORCK announces the first presentation of the 25 new E:RADDAR and Upland models at the Eurobike in Frankfurt. Representatives of the press are cordially invited to the public press conference taking place during the trade fair on Wednesday, 21 June at 16:30 in the "Dialogue" room in Hall 9.2. The new models will also be on display in Hall 12.0 Stand B04 and available for test rides in the Demo Area in the outdoor area F12.0 Stand F26.
