Bikes & sizes

Questions about our bikes

Everything about model setup, availability, frame size, riding position, geometry and tire width.

What is the difference between Comp, Pro and Platinum

Comp, Pro and Platinum describe different build and carbon levels. Relevant factors are weight, components, wheels and the desired performance standard.

How do I get a bike that is available immediately

You can find directly available models through the product pages, the webshop or the stores. For concrete availability, a direct request is recommended.

Which sizes does Storck offer

The available sizes depend on the model. Body height, inseam, riding position and intended use are decisive.

What should I do if I am between two frame sizes

The desired riding position should guide the choice. A sportier, more direct setup is often smaller; a calmer and more comfortable setup is usually larger.

How do I know which riding position is suitable

Intended use, mobility, experience and desired comfort determine the position. If you are unsure, a consultation or bike fitting is useful.

How do the geometry data help me

Geometry data shows seat tube, stack, reach, wheelbase and other values. They help when comparing models and sizes.

How can I determine my frame size myself

Body height, inseam and existing bike dimensions are the basis. The final assessment should still be checked for high-quality bikes.

Which groupsets does Storck offer

Depending on the model, different Shimano and SRAM groupsets are available. The exact selection depends on model, availability and build.

Can I ride my Storck on a roller trainer

That depends on the model, trainer and correct mounting. Manufacturer specifications and approvals should be checked before use.

Which tire width can I ride

The maximum tire width depends on the model. It should be assessed together with inner rim width, actual tire width and sufficient frame clearance.

E-Bike service

Questions about e-bikes

Answers about service intervals, battery, range, winter storage, defects and inspections.

How often should I have my e-bike serviced

Regular service is useful, especially with frequent use. Drive system, brakes, bearings and software should be checked regularly.

How far can I ride with a fully charged battery

Range depends on battery, support level, rider weight, route, temperature, tire pressure and riding style.

Is the battery charged on delivery

The battery may be partially charged on delivery. It should be fully charged before the first longer ride.

How should I handle my battery

Batteries should be stored dry, at moderate temperature and not permanently fully discharged. Follow the manufacturer instructions.

What should I do with a defective battery

Please do not continue using the battery if anything seems unusual. Contact Storck or an authorised service partner.

What should I consider in winter

Store the battery dry and protected from frost where possible. A medium charge level is suitable for longer storage periods.

Can I have my bike inspected elsewhere

Many basic tasks can be handled by a qualified specialist workshop. For drive systems, carbon parts or warranty topics, please contact Storck first.

Warranty

Classify warranty questions correctly

What is covered, which documents help and when a case may fall outside the warranty.

What does the warranty cover

The warranty applies to defined defects and conditions. Normal wear, crash damage or improper use may be excluded.

What do I need for a warranty request

Helpful details include proof of purchase, model, frame number, photos and a precise description of the problem.

How does a check work

Storck reviews the details and decides whether more information, a shipment or another solution is required.

What is not covered by warranty

Wear, assembly errors, external impact, accidents, improper care or non-approved modifications may fall outside the warranty.

The right route for service questions, returns, complaints, noises, defects, crash cases or repair needs.

General service questions

For service questions, Storck stores and contacts are the best starting point. Have the model, purchase date and a short error description ready.

Which service intervals make sense

Intervals depend on use and conditions. Frequently used bikes, e-bikes and bikes ridden in wet or dirty conditions should be checked more often.

Do I have a right of return

This depends on purchase channel, deadlines, condition and legal requirements. The specific purchase terms are decisive.

How do I handle a return or complaint

Contact Storck in advance, describe the request and wait for the next steps. Please do not send anything in without coordination.
